AppsEvents Google for School Leaders

At this summit we are delighted to be offering our ‘Leadership strand’ which is held over two regular summit sessions. The curriculum is designed by Google leadership experts Rowland Baker and John Mikton to cover the best practices for leaders at schools running Google Apps.

John Mikton
Director eLearning at the Inter Community School Zurich Switzerland, An Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Apps for Education Trainer, and Principal Training Center Course Facilitator.
John worked in United States, Tanzania, China, Japan, Czech Republic and now Switzerland as an Elementary School Teacher, Information Technology Specialist , IT Coordinator, IT Director and currently Director of eLearning. Previous to this, John worked in Television and Print Advertising:  Boston Massachusetts (Warner Communications), and San Francisco California (The Bay Guardian). John runs the blog:

Rowland Baker 

Rowland Baker has been an educator for over thirty years in both public and private schools. He served as a teacher for fourteen years, a principal in two different schools, a director of technology and an assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction in a county of about 45,000 students. He has also directed several statewide projects for the California Department of Education. 
Rowland is currently Executive Director of the Technology Information Center for Administrative Leadership (TICAL), funded through the California Department of Education.
